Photo Day
We know how stressful picture day can be whether it is for school or sports. Snapped in Time has been doing this for years and we’ve gone through great lengths to make your photo day as simple and stress-free as possible. All you have to do is show up and we will take care of the rest. The main thing we ask is that all players have their picture taken so they can at least be included in their team picture.
Here are some of our most frequently asked questions:
If I’m not buying anything, does my player need their picture taken?
Yes, it is highly recommended that you have your players' picture taken because it will be the only way they can be in the team photo. The team photo is going to be ordered by others who would love to have their full team in the team image. Also, if you have a change of heart later on, then you’ll always be welcome to order from your personal photo gallery!
Not only is having your player in the team picture great for your team, it is also great for the league. Did you know that many youth sports leagues have sponsors? Many sponsors want to show the world who they support so a full team image will be great for keeping your league thriving for future seasons.
What do I need?
Your player will need their full uniform and regular sports equipment. For your sport, please see below:
• Soccer : Soccer Ball, Cleats, Pads.
• Baseball / Softball / T-Ball : Bat, Glove, Cleats, Catcher’s gear if they want to be in it.
• Football : All Football protective gear
• Basketball : Basketball
• Lacrosse: Pads, Gloves, Stick
• Hockey: Pads, Stick, Skates
• Cheer / Dance / Color Guard : Pom Poms, Batons, Flags, etc
Where are the forms I have to fill out?
Forms are so last decade. You don’t have to fill anything out at the field. Your player will receive a paper that will tell you how to access your photos. It looks like this:
On this form will be a QR-Code that will take you to your online galley. If you’re not familiar with QR codes, there is also the website link and your personal gallery code. If your gallery is not ready, you can sign up for notifications! Once you’ve signed up, you won’t need to keep this form anymore as you’ll receive email notifications once you’re done.
Do you collect payment on Photo Day?
No, we do not collect any sort of payment on photo day. All orders will go through our online gallery using safe and secure transation partners.
How long do we have to wait on picture day?
Our photographers do their best to work their magic as fast as they can. Our process can take between 45-90 seconds depending on factors such as the age of the child, the sport being taken, and how well they listen and follow posing instructions
After they get their normal picture, do we have to wait around for the team picture?
Not at all. Once your child is finished being photographed, you are done! We use the pictures that we captured and create an amazing team picture. Here is how we do that:
We love to do it this way because it is easier on the children, the parents, and our photographers. Additionally, if we do everything one on one, we can ensure your child will not be the one with a horrible squint or eyes closed in your pictures.
How long does it take to get our images back?
We have been working diligently to streamline our backend production resulting in a turnaround of less than a week for your images to be available. If we give the photo editing zombies extra snacks, we have been able to get it down to as little as 4 days before you can order.
Do we have to as soon as they are ready?
No. Our galleries are open and available for six months before they are removed. If you want to wait before you order, please be our guest and do so.
What if I miss the ordering window and the gallery is no longer available?
We completely understand that life gets in the way sometimes. Just work with one of our photographers and they will be sure to help you out. Or you can reach us through email and we will be happy to help.
